The Art Highway to Debut its Flagship Showroom at the High Point Market in Historic Market Square
Mission, BC, Canada, March 26, 2013 — The Art Highway’s journey, as the industry’s hottest new emerging wall art company, is leading straight to High Point. The company has chosen the High Point International Furniture Market, which runs April 20 – 25, to debut its flagship showroom. This art publishing and manufacturing company will blast upon the High Point Market scene in its beautiful new showroom, located in historic Market Square, MS-247; and a satellite booth in Suites at Market Square, 1-540, in the Made in America Pavilion. To kick-off its first show, The Art Highway is planning to bring in exclusive artists’ work, never before available to the home décor community, according to Laurie Burke, the company’s National Sales & Marketing Manager.
The company has a simple, but significant philosophy—connect art to people, and people to each other. They believe wall décor is much more than an accessory—it tells a story, reminds us of a memory or brings us to a place we dream of travelling to. “I have always been fascinated with the emotional draw an image can have on its viewer,” shares Rena Somerville, the company’s founder. “Art inspires, stimulates and captivates us. It nurtures our connections to the living world around us. And because of those connections, we share in the journeys of everyone we come in contact with—our customers, suppliers and community.”
The Art Highway has certainly shown it is confident enough to take the road less travelled. The company prides itself on continually introducing hundreds of fresh, new pieces of art work from their own exclusive Vault Collection and new artists from around the globe. They offer a wide range of styles, from transitional to old world and abstract to classic, on fine art paper and canvas. They also offer a large selection in hard-to-find categories, such as Children’s and Fashion. With color palettes that capture the season’s trends, customers are sure to find what they need to bring this season’s hottest art subjects and color trends to their walls. “Our customers come to us to find a full representation of the hottest trends and classic staples to select from; but they also know they will find the unexpected—and their reactions to those, can sometimes be the most rewarding to share in,” states Somerville.
The Art Highway has a few of those unexpected surprises planned for their exciting debut in the High Point Market.
