October 22, 2011 – LENOIR, NC - In sync with rising social desires to connect with the natural world, the modern-spirited and organic Elements by Bernhardt collection debuts today at High Point Market.
The collection is built in quartered white oak veneers which acquire one-of-a-kind handmade looks and textures through complex techniques like wirebrushing and cerusing. Pieces are offered in one of two finishes—a dusty Sand, or earthy midtone Bark. All pieces are hand-waxed for silky feel and visual depth.
Artisanal accents include hammered aged patinated iron knobs, textured bronzed metal bases, faceted iron nailheads, and faux mohair or fine aniline leather on upholstered chairs, benches, and bed frames.

ARTFUL MINIMAL OFFICE – Today there may be more than one home office in a house, and a master bedroom suite often serves as one of those work spaces. The Elements Bookcase Desk is designed to work beautifully in a bedroom, greatroom, kitchen, or anywhere it’s placed. The slanted ladder shape features a drop-down work area with four small drawers and wire management. In the lower half are three drawers and adjustable glass shelves. FOLKSY CREDENZA – Like a California handmade, this credenza is built in quartered white oak veneers with textured and waxed midtone Bark finish. Simple craftsman drawer pulls in aged iron with dark bronzed patina. Open glass shelving. W86 D18 H32-3/4 in.
