Las Vegas Market Honors Second Annual Andyz Award Winners
Nine Innovative Interior Design Projects Recognized at Summer Market
LAS VEGAS (August 1, 2016) – Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC) announced today that nine pioneering interior design projects were selected as winners of the second annual ANDYZ design awards, a program created in partnership with the California Central/Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) to recognize and celebrate the year’s best interior design. Projects by interior designers, architects and design students based in the region were honored last night at the Summer 2016 Las Vegas Market, which runs through Thursday, August 4.

The ANDYZ awards, short-hand for “Annual Nevada Design,” were created to recognize exceptional design from designers and design firms based in the Western United States.. The 2016 ANDYZ winners are:

- Jane Cunningham, Room Resolutions, Las Vegas, for “Individual Commercial Design”
- Jane Cunningham, Room Resolutions, Las Vegas, for “Multiple Commercial Spaces”
- Sean Tanner, Boyd Gaming, Las Vegas, for “Individual Hospitality Design”
- Sean Tanner, Boyd Gaming, Las Vegas, for “Multiple Hospitality Spaces”
- Jennifer Pranskevich, San Diego Mesa College for “Student Design”
The ANDYZ Awards were open to all design firms, independent designers, and students located in states west of the Mississippi. Interior design projects in residential, commercial and hospitality categories were judged by a panel of professional ASID designers, and judging focused on five main criteria: presentation; innovation/creative use of space; scale and functionality; aesthetics, and overall execution.
